We are working women, working for women; running a sustainable, not for profit community enterprise.
We exist to magically empower women, to create supportive connections and to enable women to find the wild woman within her.
We operate on fair and ethical principles where energy given is appropriately rewarded.

Ruth is a creative soul, who has a passion for weaving magic with words. She is an avid journaler, but also enjoys crochet and other handicrafts - anything that nurtures the inner Creatrix! Ruth is neurodivergent and has some physical disabilities that can make life a little complicated at times, but she is always looking for ways to use these challenges to shape a life that feels authentic to her. She has a special interest in personal development, and has a bit of an obsession with understanding herself and other human beings. She hopes that one day she’ll have something to offer people in relation to all this learning she’s been doing!
Ruth’s journey with Wild Women Retreats started in 2018 and has changed her life in many beautiful ways. It has helped to create a wonderfully strong and personal spiritual foundation in her life, as well as opening up a supportive and loving network of women that was previously completely unknown to her! As someone who has previously used the Bursary fund to take part in events, Ruth feels passionately about helping other women take part in the life-long and love-filled community of Wild Women Retreats.

Celia's interest in food and cooking started over 50 years ago when she was 12 and helping her mother with her vegetarian catering business, quite a rare approach at the time. Over the years she has been involved in a wide variety of cooking ventures including Macrobiotic cooking, festivals, specialist diets - including raw, gluten and dairy free - private catering, weddings, funerals, event weekends, market stalls, and retreats, working with energy, colour and texture of foods.
She has trained in herbal medicine and loves working with local and organic produce, using the plants around her and herbs from the garden as much as possible.
Celia loves to sing and runs singing circles for mothers, babies and children, as well as for people at the end of life. A carer throughout her life, Celia is used to 'holding space' for individuals and groups and has facilitated circles for young people and sharing / informative circles about end of life.
A grandmother of 6 beautiful children, these days she can often be found at soft play or on the beach, or local woods and streams with the youngest, creating nature mandalas and getting wet and muddy. Or trying to tempt the older ones off screens.
Favourite pastimes are walking, dancing, bare feet, study and reading; her current passion is Classical Greek Mythology and how it weaves into all our lives.
